Importance of MSM:
Today, many operators are spending more time and effort managing their multiple VAS partners and services than they do managing their voice services and devising effective marketing strategies. This dilute their focus on VAS services which now constitute almost 12% to 16% of operator revenue in some of the countries.

Components of MSM:

3) Managed Services Team (MST): Creation of a dedicated MS Team to manage the operator’s VAS portfolio and defines roles and responsibilities for each team member
4) System Uptime and Maintenance (SUM): Ensuring that all VAS nodes are operational and maintained to meet defined SLAs, working with all third party vendors and solution providers as necessary
5) Customer Care Interface (CCI): Resolution of any customer care queries relating to VAS services immediately, following the defined escalation process with the customer care department |
