Ozura Teams Up with Goldfinch to bring Mobile Gaming Platform for Indian Operators
Singapore, September 08, 2008- Ozura Mobile, a leading international publisher and developer of mobile entertainment has announced today that it has signed partnership deal with Goldfinch Mobile Solutions, an Indian based VAS and Roaming Solutions provider. Goldfinch will bring mobile games and tournament based mobile gaming community portal which runs on Ozura's FunlogiX™ platform to GSM, CDMA and Fixed Line operators in India.
FunlogiX™, the proprietary Tournament Based Mobile Gaming Community platform developed by Ozura provides telcos and partners a platform to build and manage a mobile gaming community. In addition, the platform features competitive mobile game tournaments, interactive games, community clubs and forums as well as a prize-based redemption system for operator’s customers.
According to Gartner, a global technology research firm, mobile gaming revenues in India are expected to reach $450 million by 2012 as more users sign up for wireless services in the world’s fastest-growing telecom market. India is expected to lead among Asian countries in terms of mobile gaming revenues, with the 2007 figure at around $80 million.

In addition, a study on Indian mobile gaming industry indicates that a high end user could spend as much as US$20 a month on games, there is about 100, 000 games are downloaded per day across all networks in India. The market is expected to grow aggressively in the coming year 2010 with estimates at around USD 250 million.
